His Eminence, Archbishop Paul has elevated us to mission status effective April 1, 2021.

We are now: Holy Theophany Orthodox Church, A Mission of the Orthodox Church in America.

Thanks be to God!

Please return again! You are most cordially invited to attend our worship services.

Holy Theophany Church is open for worship. Seating in the Church has expanded to slightly below normal

and there is overflow space in our Parish Hall in which services are livestreamed.

If you would like to visit the church or join our
community, please contact Fr. John Jones, Priest-in-Charge, you can

We will work to keep the website updated for upcoming services and other events!

His Eminence, Archbishop Paul has issued this directive for those attending worship services:

On May 13, the Center for Disease Control (CDC) updated their guidance stating the following, “if you are fully vaccinated, you can resume activities that you did prior to the pandemic.” In accordance with this guidance, I am lifting the mandate to wear masks while in the churches of the Diocese of the Midwest. Wearing a mask is recommended, but not mandated. This will be left up to personal discretion and consultation with one’s physician.

While the vaccine is recommended by the CDC, those who have not yet received their vaccination, or those who choose not to receive a vaccine, assume all and any risk by entering the temple without a mask and going against the recommendations of the CDC  which are also mine. I request that everyone who enters the church exercise good judgement  and utilize sanitary measures as we have done throughout this past year.

Yours in Christ

Holy Theophany Orthodox Church, a Mission of the OCAA group of faithful gathered in a local Williams Bay bookstore in the Fall of 2007, moving to the local Elementary School, where services were held every other Sunday. On April 6, 2009, the Orthodox Community of Lake Geneva was granted Chapel Status under the patronage of the Feast of Holy Theophany by Archbishop Job of blessed memory. The Chapel was an outreach of Sts. Cyril and Methodius Orthodox Church in Milwaukee. Over time, membership has increased and is growing.  With the grace of God on September 1, 2012 the community moved into its own permanent location.  Since then, services are held every Sunday at 10:00am.

On April 1, 2021 we were elevated to mission status by His Eminence, Archbishop Paul. We are diverse community welcoming all who wish to worship in the Orthodox Christian tradition and share the mission of proclaiming the saving message of Jesus Christ. Services are in English.

We are worshipping community of the Orthodox Church of America. We are in the Diocese of Chicago and the Midwest under the omophorion of His Eminence, Archbishop Bishop Paul.
